Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect painted surfaces with masking tape where moldings will contact.
- Carefully remove existing moldings using a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver, working slowly to avoid bending or scratching trim and glass.
- Remove old clips and fasteners from the channel; use needle-nose pliers if needed. Clean the channel thoroughly with solvent and a rag to remove adhesive and debris.
- Test-fit new clips from the kit into the channel. Orient each clip per the original clip’s position (retaining lip toward the molding) and space them evenly along the channel.
- Press or tap clips into place until fully seated. Use a rubber mallet lightly if necessary, being careful not to damage the channel.
- Align the window molding at one end and snap it onto the newly installed clips, working along the length to ensure each clip engages securely.
- Check fitment and alignment of the molding; make any small adjustments by removing and repositioning clips as needed.
- Repeat the process for the rear window molding. Recheck all trim for firm attachment and test for wind noise or movement after installation.
