Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and remove any interior trim panels that block access to the rear window seals.
- Carefully remove the old weatherstrip and any adhesive residue using a trim tool and a utility knife; avoid damaging the glass or channel.
- Clean the channel and surrounding surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry.
- Test-fit each new seal piece to confirm orientation and length; trim excess material as needed for a precise fit.
- Apply a thin, even bead of recommended urethane weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or the seal flange per adhesive instructions.
- Press the seal into the channel starting at one end and working around to ensure full engagement; use a rubber mallet to seat the seal if necessary.
- Use masking tape to hold the seal in place while adhesive sets, following the adhesive cure time on the product label.
- Reinstall any removed interior trim and inspect the seal perimeter for uniform contact and gaps. Allow adhesive to fully cure before driving.
