Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on level ground, lower the vent window, and disconnect the battery if desired for safety.
- Remove the interior door/vent trim panel or access cover to expose the vent handle linkage and mounting hardware.
- Note the orientation of the existing handle and linkage; take a photo if helpful for reassembly.
- Using the appropriate screwdriver or socket, remove the fastener(s) securing the old handle and carefully detach the handle from the linkage.
- Inspect the linkage and mounting area for corrosion or debris; clean surfaces and apply a small amount of grease to moving contact points.
- Position the new handle onto the linkage, align mounting holes, and secure with the original or supplied fasteners. Tighten to snug — avoid over-torquing.
