1996 Camaro SS goes from beauty to 'INSANE' beauty

Tim Rempel, otherwise known as Canadian Gearhead, took a 1996 Camaro SS classic car and transformed it "from great looking to INSANE."
The story of his restoration is revealed on his YouTube channel.
The almost hour-long video starts with work on correcting a rear panel on the car. Then it continues with polishing of the hubcaps and washing and stripping the wax and oils.
But that's just the starting part in revealing the damage hiding beneath the coat of wax on the car.
"I know what you're thinking and I agree with you," Rempel tells viewers. "This car already looks really good, especially on camera. But consider other parts of the car industry where it's totally common to take cars that perform great from the factory and still modify them to be even better."
He adds: "Well, why can't we do that with their appearance too? There's always something you can do to a car to make it faster. And there's always something you can do to it to make it look better too."
The video goes on to show the rest of the detailing work on the SLP car with the ram air hoods that were "so functional that water will go directly into the intake." Rempel ceramic coats the wheels and does sanding, car polishing and more.
