This right-hand glass run channel is engineered for 1966-1977 Ford Bronco door windows to guide and seal the glass as it moves. It restores proper window alignment, reduces wind noise and water intrusion, and protects the door interior and window edges from wear. Built for durability and reliable, quiet operation, the channel is ideal for restoration projects or replacing worn originals and is designed for straightforward installation.
Features:
- Fits 1966-1977 Ford Bronco (right-hand/passenger side).
- Constructed from durable rubber compound with internal reinforcement for long-lasting shape retention.
- Guides and seals the window to reduce wind noise, rattling, and water ingress.
- Protects glass edges and door trim from wear and prevents binding during up/down motion.
- Straightforward replacement part ideal for restoration or routine maintenance.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Instructions:
- Lower the window fully (or remove inner door glass if required) and disconnect the battery if necessary for power windows.
- Remove the interior door panel and any vapor barrier carefully to expose the window channel area.
- Locate and remove any retaining clips or fasteners holding the old glass run channel in place using pliers or a trim tool.
- Peel out the old channel carefully, taking note of the routing and any metal retainers; remove old adhesive or debris from the channel slot.
- Apply a light coat of silicone spray or soapy water to the new channel to ease insertion and protect the rubber during install.
- Insert the new channel into the door frame starting at the top corner, aligning internal retainers and pressing the channel into the channel groove evenly along its length.
- Reinstall any retaining clips or fasteners to secure the channel, then cycle the window slowly to ensure smooth operation and correct alignment.
- Trim or adjust any excess material if necessary, replace the vapor barrier, and reattach the interior door panel. Test the window several times to confirm proper seal and movement.
