The Precision Glass Run Channel, Left Hand GRL 1110 88, is a left-side window guide and seal designed to secure and guide door glass while sealing against water, wind and road noise. This durable replacement channel restores proper glass alignment, reduces vibration and prevents edge wear and chipping of the window. Made from weather-resistant materials for long-term performance, it’s an ideal restoration or maintenance part for vehicles that require a left-hand glass run channel—verify vehicle fitment before purchase.
Features:
- Left-hand glass run channel (verify fitment for your year, make and model before ordering).
- Constructed from weather-resistant EPDM and rubber compounds for lasting durability.
- Guides and secures door glass to reduce wind noise, vibration, and glass wear.
- OEM-style profile restores proper window alignment and sealing performance.
- Easy to install with basic door trim removal; ideal for restoration and maintenance projects.
- Part number GRL 1110 88 for accurate replacement identification.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, roll the window fully up, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if the vehicle has power windows.
- Carefully remove the interior door panel: remove screws, clips and the door handle/armrest as required. Use a trim removal tool to avoid damaging clips.
- Lower the glass slightly (if necessary) to access the channel mounting points; support the glass so it won’t fall while the channel is removed.
- Remove any retainers or screws securing the old glass run channel. Gently peel or slide the old channel out of its mounting groove, using a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to free stubborn sections.
- Clean the channel mounting area thoroughly with solvent and a lint-free cloth; remove old adhesive, dirt and residue to ensure a proper seal.
- Apply a small amount of rubber lubricant or soapy water to the new channel to ease installation. Align the new run channel (GRL 1110 88) with the door frame and press it into the mounting groove, working from one end to the other.
- Ensure the channel seats fully along the door frame and that the glass moves smoothly within the channel without binding. Reinstall any clips or fasteners removed earlier.
- Reattach the door panel, handles and trim pieces. Reconnect the battery (if disconnected) and test the window operation several times to confirm smooth movement and proper sealing.
- Check for water tightness and wind noise after installation; readjust if necessary.
