Cab-to-fender seals FSP 3110 61 are replacement weatherstrips designed to seal the gap between a vehicle's cab and front fenders, preventing water, dust and wind noise while protecting paint and trim. Made from durable, weather-resistant rubber, these seals restore factory fit and finish, reduce vibration and rattles, and extend the life of the cab/fender interface. They are ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance where a reliable, long-lasting seal is needed and are designed for straightforward installation with basic tools.
Features:
- Durable, weather-resistant rubber helps block water, dust and road debris from the cab-to-fender gap.
- Restores factory-style fit and finish to the cab/fender interface; reduces noise and vibration.
- High-elasticity compound resists cracking, UV damage and compression set for long service life.
- Precision-molded profile ensures consistent sealing and easy alignment during installation.
- Suitable for restoration or replacement applications where original sealing performance is needed.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and remove any components or fasteners that obstruct access to the cab-to-fender gap (if applicable).
- Carefully remove the old seal: pry it away with a trim tool or flat-head screwdriver and scrape away old adhesive or residue with a razor blade or scraper.
- Clean the mating surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean rag; ensure surfaces are dry and free of grease, wax or paint overspray.
- Test-fit the new seal along the cab-to-fender joint to confirm orientation and length; trim excess if necessary using sharp scissors or a utility knife.
- If adhesive is recommended, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the mounting flange or vehicle surface per adhesive manufacturer instructions.
- Align the seal and press it firmly into place, working from one end to the other to avoid gaps and ensure full contact.
- Use masking tape to hold the seal in position while adhesive cures (if used). Reinstall any removed hardware or trim.
- Allow adhesive to cure per product instructions before driving. Inspect the seal for gaps or areas needing additional adhesive and correct as needed.
