Instructions:
- Identify the damaged or missing clip and the mating hole in the panel or body flange.
- If removing an old clip, pry up the center pin (if present) with a trim tool or screwdriver and pull the clip body free with pliers.
- Clean the hole and mating surfaces of dirt or debris; apply a light spray of lubricant if insertion is tight.
- Align the clip shank with the hole and press the clip body straight into the hole until the head seats flush.
- If the clip has a retaining pin or center plug, push the pin fully in to expand and lock the clip in place.
- Gently test the panel for secure fitment and make any small adjustments as needed.
