Instructions:
- Ensure the Cold Knife Tool 1002-M is powered off and unplugged (if electric) or disengaged.
- Put on safety glasses and gloves to protect hands and eyes from the blade.
- Locate and loosen the blade retainer screw or clamp on the tool using the appropriate screwdriver.
- Carefully remove the old blade by sliding it free from the retainer; dispose of the old blade safely.
- Align the new 1-inch Wizard Blade in the retainer slot with the cutting edge oriented correctly for your tool.
- Seat the blade fully and secure the retainer screw or clamp snugly—do not overtighten.
- Wipe the blade area clean with a cloth and verify there is no play or misalignment.
- Perform a test cut on a scrap piece of material to confirm proper installation and cutting direction.
