Instructions:
- Park on a flat surface, turn off the vehicle, and wear gloves to protect your hands.
- Carefully pry the trim away from the panel using a trim removal tool or small flathead screwdriver at the clip locations — work slowly to avoid damage.
- Remove the old or broken clip by pulling it straight out or using needle-nose pliers to extract the base.
- Inspect the clip hole and surrounding area for damage or debris; clean with a soft cloth if needed.
- Align the new stamped molding clip with the hole and push the clip straight in until it snaps into place and seats flush.
- Re-seat the trim over the installed clip, applying even pressure until the trim clicks and locks down.
- Check for secure fit and proper alignment; repeat for additional clips as needed and test for rattles or looseness.
