Instructions:
- Park on level ground, set parking brake and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent accidental window movement.
- Lower the window (if functional) to access mounting points; if window is inoperative, carefully support the glass with tape or a helper.
- Remove the interior door panel: remove screws, pry off trim clips with a trim tool, and disconnect any electrical connectors (power window/lock switches).
- Peel back the water/vapor barrier to expose the inner door cavity and locate the window regulator and glass mounting hardware.
- Support the glass from the inside of the door and loosen/remove the mounting bolts or fasteners that attach the glass to the regulator or carrier.
- Remove the old hardware components and clean mating surfaces of dirt and old adhesive; position the new hardware (PHP DD26 1328) and hand-thread mounting fasteners.
- Align the glass in the window channel, tighten mounting bolts to secure the glass, and cycle the window to confirm smooth operation and correct alignment.
- Reinstall the water barrier, reconnect electrical connectors, reattach the door panel and trim, reconnect the battery, and perform a final operation test to ensure there are no rattles or binding.
