Instructions:
- Identify the correct clip location by comparing to the original clip or the molding channel.
- Carefully remove the molding or trim piece using a trim removal tool to expose the clip area; work slowly to avoid damage.
- Remove the old or broken clip with needle-nose pliers or by prying it out; clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with a wire brush or cloth.
- Align the new 9882 clip with the mounting hole or channel, ensuring the clip orientation matches the original.
- Push the clip into the hole until it seats fully — you should feel or hear a secure engagement. Use a rubber mallet gently if additional force is needed.
