Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, roll window fully up (if applicable) and disconnect the battery if working near powered components.
- Remove the interior door panel and any trim pieces that cover the vent window frame using trim tools and screwdrivers; keep fasteners organized.
- Carefully loosen or remove the vent window exterior trim and any mounting screws or pivot hardware holding the vent glass in place.
- Support the vent glass while removing mounting hardware; use a suction cup or gloved hands to prevent dropping the glass.
- Remove the old vent glass and clean the channel and sealing surfaces of debris, old adhesive, and corrosion.
- Test-fit the new tempered vent glass into the frame, aligning pivot points and mounting holes before final installation.
- Secure the new glass with the original mounting screws/clips and reattach pivot hardware; ensure the glass moves freely and seats in the weatherstrip.
- Replace exterior and interior trim pieces, reinstall the door panel, and test for proper sealing and operation; make any minor alignment adjustments as needed.
