The Precision Glass Run Channel (GRB 1111 67) is a direct-fit replacement channel for left or right hand door glass on compatible 1967 model vehicles. It secures and guides the window glass, reduces wind noise and water intrusion, and protects the door finish from glass wear. Built for restoration and maintenance applications, this channel delivers dependable sealing performance, long-lasting durability, and straightforward installation to restore original window operation and weatherproofing.
Features:
  • Fitment: Left or right hand glass run channel for compatible 1967 model vehicles — verify exact fitment for your make and model.
  • Constructed from durable rubber compound with a corrosion-resistant reinforcement for long service life.
  • Guides and cushions the window glass to reduce vibration, rattles, and wind noise.
  • Helps prevent water intrusion and protects door interior finishes from glass wear.
  • Designed for restoration and replacement projects; restores proper window alignment and smooth operation.
  • Easy to install with common hand tools; ideal for home restoration or professional repair.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 3/5
  • Estimated time: 30-60 minutes per door
Suggested Tools:
  • Flat-head screwdriver or trim removal tool
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Masking tape
  • Spray lubricant or soapy water
  • Weatherstrip adhesive (optional)
  • Shop rags
Instructions:
  1. Disconnect the vehicle battery (recommended) and remove the door panel by removing fasteners and carefully prying clips with a trim tool.
  2. Lower the window (if possible) to access the top of the glass and the existing run channel.
  3. Peel or pry out the old glass run channel from the door frame; use pliers for stubborn sections and remove any retained metal clips or adhesive residue.
  4. Clean the channel mounting area thoroughly with a shop rag and mild solvent to remove dirt, old adhesive, and corrosion.
  5. Test-fit the new run channel along the door/frame to confirm orientation (left vs right) and length; trim if instructed by vehicle-specific guidelines.
  6. Apply a light spray lubricant or soapy water to the inner lip of the new channel to ease glass insertion. Use weatherstrip adhesive sparingly on mounting surfaces if required for your vehicle.
  7. Carefully seat the new channel into the door frame, starting at one end and pressing it into the groove. Reinstall any retaining clips or fasteners removed earlier.
  8. Raise the window into the channel and cycle it up and down slowly to ensure smooth movement and correct alignment. Adjust as needed.
  9. Reinstall the door panel and all fasteners, reconnect the battery, and perform a final check for proper seal, operation, and absence of wind noise or leaks.
