Instructions:
- Measure the window channel length and note any corners or curves to plan cuts.
- Cut the weatherstrip from the roll, leaving a small extra length (1–2 inches) for trimming.
- Remove any old seal and thoroughly clean the glass channel with rubbing alcohol; let dry.
- Lightly lubricate the glass edge or channel with soapy water or silicone spray to ease insertion.
- Position the leading edge of the weatherstrip into the channel and begin seating the self-locking lip over the glass.
- Work along the glass, pressing or sliding the profile into place; use a trim tool to fully seat the locking edge if needed.
- Trim excess material flush to the channel ends using a utility knife; ensure a tight fit at corners and stops.
- If required, apply a small bead of compatible adhesive or sealant at the ends or corners for added security.
- Operate the window to confirm smooth movement and proper seal; re-trim or reseat as needed.
